Hi, I’m Lucía. I hold a degree in Psychology with licence number M-40796, specializing in humanistic psychotherapy and currently pursuing a Postgraduate degree in Gestalt psychotherapy.
My professional trajectory and life experience have led me to train as a Women’s Health Coach with Integrative Women’s Health. This has brought me to what I consider my mission: to help individuals reconnect with their bodies, create a personalized improvement plan while living with Endometriosis/PCOS, and live in harmony with the menstrual cycle or menopause.

Additionally, my goal is to raise awareness about the importance of studying and researching in women’s health, while also fighting to break the taboos that still exist in society regarding this field.
My approach to health is integrative and holistic, with a gender perspective, focusing on changing the aspects of our health that we can control (and understanding those that we cannot). I believe that in my sessions, I also draw from the transformative essence of Gestalt psychotherapy.

My professional background is diverse, with over 10 years of experience in community and educational settings in the UK, including two years as an associated therapist in NHS. I have extensive volunteer experience with women in Spain, the United Kingdom, and India, among which I would highlight my work as a telephone counsellor for Endometriosis UK. I’ve also been part of an art therapy circle for women and have organized therapeutic workshops in India.

Likewise, I consider myself a person in constant evolution and learning, so I continuously update my knowledge through courses and research related to advances in Endometriosis and women’s health. Besides this, I am a passionate yogi and astrology enthusiast (in case you’re wondering, yes, my sun sign is Libra).

In 2018, at the age of 22, I embarked on a transformative journey towards becoming a women’s health coach. It all started with my decision to stop with birth control, unaware that this choice would become a pivotal moment in my life.

Over the span of five years, I discovered I had PCOS, SIBO, and Leaky Gut. The path to healing from digestive issues and achieving remission from PCOS became a profound experience for me. This health journey ignited my passion for sharing my story and a deep desire to support women who have often been treated merely as symptoms rather than individuals. I invite you to explore my personal journal for more insights into my story.

My mission as a women’s health coach is to guide you in living a balanced life, tapping into your intuition, and embracing self-compassion throughout your journey.

Stemming from her work as a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist, Kelsea began to question the underlying root causes of chronic joint pain, daily fatigue, slower healing, and pelvic & digestive dysfunction that busy women presented with esp between the ages of 35-55. She discovered that life/work imbalances, large mental loads, & chronic stress were major barriers to women’s bodies (and minds) being able to thrive, during perimenopause. In the process of adopting holistic lifestyle medicine strategies in her own life to reduce her own chronic fatigue, Kelsea shifted from the PT clinic into her own lifestyle medicine coaching practice where today she supports women in feeling more in control of their own bodies, restoring their energy with less effort, feeling fully nourished through rest/nutrition/restoring balance, & in developing healthy boundaries that finally allow for women to feel a sense of life/work happiness for long term health gains. Kelsea has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University, her Pelvic Health specialty from Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and is a Certified Integrative Women’s Health Coach through IWHI.

I treat patients from birth on up but the majority of those I treat are females with chronic pain conditions including abdominal pain and pelvic issues. Those patients who have struggled with traditional physical therapy to address their concerns are those who commonly come into my practice.

Professional History:

After receiving my BS in PE with a Fitness Emphasis & Spanish, I worked as a Director of Corporate Wellness in San Francisco, CA for 4 years. That eventually led me to pursue a MS in Physical Therapy and develop my skills as a Holistic Physical Therapist which I have done for the past 25 years. Throughout my journey as a physical therapist, I have trained in Myofascial Release (MFR) and Craniosacral Therapy (CST) through many levels of advanced coursework. The addition of Visceral Manipulation (VM) and Healing From The Core (HFC) have blended with my skills in Pelvic Rehab/Pelvic Health to create a unique whole body approach to all those I have the pleasure to work with on their healing journey.
