Meredith Fenton

I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling genuinely understood. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that we are more than our symptoms, diagnoses, or past experiences.

As a clinical mental health counselor, I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship and attachment challenges, life transitions, reproductive mental health, perimenopause and menopause, grief, and the lasting effects of difficult relational experiences.

My work integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with neuroscience-informed and trauma-informed care. Drawing from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapies, Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, attachment-based approaches, Gottman-informed work, and other specialized techniques, I tailor therapy to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model.

I’m particularly interested in the relationship between the nervous system, attachment patterns, emotional responses, and the protective strategies we develop throughout life. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion while developing greater emotional regulation, clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

I remain committed to lifelong learning and staying current with evolving neuroscience and psychological research because I believe exceptional therapy requires both a compassionate heart and a curious mind.

My goal is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your relationship with yourself and others, and develop lasting tools for navigating life with greater confidence and steadiness.
