As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board- Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist, and DONA Certified Birth Doula her primary focuses are pelvic floor dysfunction and Black Maternal Health. She serves several clients as a birth doula, certified lymphedema therapist, health coach and registered yoga teacher. She is a contributing faculty member at the University of St. Augustine- Dallas Campus as well as a guest lecturer at various graduate programs.

She is also a money mentor, educator, and speaker with a passion for teaching students and professionals how to make, manage, and multiply their money as a certified financial coach and educator.

Through her work she creates a lasting impact by shining a light on the importance of creating legacy and generational wealth, knowledge passed down by her parents, while also balancing careers and health, without burnout.

Susan Tessman pursued training in women’s health and nutrition after personally experiencing the struggle of lack of medical intervention for endometriosis and pelvic pain conditions, and is a Certified Nutrition Coach and Certified through IWHI as a Women’s Health and Nutrition Coach, with further specialized courses in functional nutrition for chronic pelvic pain, vulvo-vaginal pain and dermatology, and pre-conception preparation.  She also completed training in the Teach the Hormone Cure program, developed by Dr. Sara Gottfried, and is furthering her pelvic pain education with leading pelvic floor expert Isa Herrera, MSPT, CSCS, as well as apprenticing with women’s hormonal health expert Nicole Jardim.
